A/C With Custom Front-Mount

I have a spearco 26x10x3 inch FMIC to be installed on my FC. I would like to keep the A/C because Black on Black gets hot in humid Missouri. Since the core isn't very large I was wondering if keeping the a/c would be feasible. I plan on mounting the IC as low as possible, so it fits right where the mouth is. I was also worried about the oil cooler, is moving that really important. I plan on buying a Koyo rad as soon as the car is running.
Thanks in advance, why didn't I search? Because 26x10x3 custom intercoolers didn't not come up.........most people have the bigger NPR or Trust cores.............

I really cannot offer you input on your situation. However, your concerns are valid. Before you do this you should install a water and oil temp gauge. The stock is not going to tell you what you need to know.

I'll put it this way - a buddy of mine has the Greddy VSPL front-mount on his '89 Turbo. Car runs awesome, AC blows ice cold, and he's right around thermostat temperature on the temp gauge. Can't beat that. That's with a stock radiator/fan, too.

Really........ooh this makes me rethink my situation, A/C would make my car perfect...........in my eyes anyway. Now I just have to find someone to fill me up some R-12.
Anyone else have any thoughts

the biggest problem would be running IC piping to your TB with both AC and PS. if you don't have PS you'll have it easy.

Hot humid Missouri?! You've never been to south Texas! I've worn shorts at Christmas.

Okay Texas is bad, but so is Missouri, I used to drive with the seat reclined all the way back because I didn't want to rank up the seat with back sweat. I can cut the air with a knife, but we'll never win an arguement with wich state is the hottest, doesn't matter. Back on topic, where can I buy some R-12, auto zone?

R-12 is very expensive now because of the R134. Be better off converting to R134

Unless you can get some R12 under the table. Works better.
