A/C Component storage?

I just pulled the p/s and a/c off of my car and I am curious as to how to store them so that if I ever decide to put it back on they'll still work after a charge or whatever.

just make sure they're drained out pretty good (so they don't leak all over) and set them on a shelf, make sure your lines don't get crushed, i would hang them on a pegboard if i was you. other than that they should hold up pretty well, unless one of the gurus has something else to add.

Don't drain the A/C lines. Keep them as they came off the car, but cover the open ends of the lines as well as the open fittings, if any, that remain on the car. Cannot get dirt, dust intot he A/C components.

Also, throw away the reciever drier. You cannot reuse it if it has been open for any length of time. It is probably in need of replacement anyway. If you want to reinstall the system, you will need a new one.
