Proud GXL 87' owner in need of help. I have a very disturbing sound coming from under my dash after I let my car heat up and start driving. A very loud buzzing sound. It will not come on if I just let my car idle for a while but as soon as I go it will come on. Does anyone know what this is? Please its getting really annoying to listen to and its my daily driver. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!! Anyone???????????? TY

 

no lights are coming on on the warning light panel in the center of the dash?

 

Probably either low oil, or air in the coolant, or you are exceeding the redline.

oil level is fine and there is no air in the antifreeze. The warning lights dont come on either. like i said im confused. just a loud buzzing sound under the dash

 

is it a buzzer or beeping or something else???

and how do you know that it is not air in the coolant??/ 99% of the time from your description... it would be exactly that.

 

thank you icemark ill check it again for the third time.LOL. but im sure its not that could it possably be somthing else? If I let the car sit for all day running the buzz sound will not come on. On the other hand as soon as I start to drive around the corner it comes on

 

driving around the corner sounds more like low oil...

Is this problem related to the car warming up, or related to going around corners???

Did you bleed the cooling system properly???

 

i mean that I drive it for a while and then it will come on and stay on. I can turn the car off and it will stop, but after a while it will start again when i start driving. the oil level is fine and the warning lights dont come on. can you give me the link to properly bleed the coolant? thanks for your responses.
