Buzzing sound in cockpit?!

QUESTION 1- does the same sound that come on when you redline (buzzard time sound) come on when the watertemp is too high?

MY SITUATION- the temp gauge hardly ever moves. so i dipped the coolant temp sensor into boiling water and the gauge didnt move. BUT the buzzing sound came on

FEEDBACK PLS

**im buying a coolant temp gauge tmrw!

The one on the top of the radiator measures coolant level and not temperature.

The buzzer most likely came on because it detected low coolant levels, the temperature sensor is located on the water pump....

I am not sure on the high temp buzz, only the low level.... The temperature gauge is not supposed to move once its at 1/4 mark (S4) or 1/2 mark (S5). If it's moving your cooling system has problems...

high temp does not cause buzzing.

Low coolant does as mentioned.

and yes, the stock temp gauge is a POS, buy a decent aftermarket one.

No, the temp sensor for the instrument cluster is on the rear iron, just above the heater hose and just below the oil pressure sensor/filter. It is small and has 2 prongs. You may miss it first try but it is there.
