buying a rx7 2gen '86

Hello,

I want to buy a rx7 2nd gen '86. what are the points of attention on such a car. I'm quite a newbie, so I don't know what to look for. Can anyone help me?
PS. I'm planning on building in a 3rd gen motor.

umm i think the 3rd gen motors have very diff mounts wich makes it a pita to mount em

as for what to look for, if your gona put a 3rd gen motor in it, just about everything mechanical on the underside of the car is gona be replaced so just make sure the body is in good shape, lil or no rust etc

BTW, here's the pic-link of the car. The seller sais it needs a new "spacer". If anything, what is that?
