what's switch on my center console do?
I have an 89 GTU. It's got a sunroof, power steering, A/C, power mirrors, and a factory security system. I have 3 things on my center console: the security light, power mirror adjuster, and an on/off switch that is not aftermarket. When I flip the switch it doesn't seem to do anything. Anybody know what it's for?

Most likely the fog lights.
It won't do anything unless the main lights are on.
Try turning the main lights on, then flipping the switch on and off... should turn the fog lights on and off.
Mine were both burnt out when I got my car though... they seem to go frequently.

hmm, the car doesn't have fog lights... well it has after market ones, but the wires on the backs aren't hooked up to anything. so maybe it had factory ones at one time? does anybody have a pic of a car with factory fog lights?
