Sounds good. Welcome to the forum!
How much do you know abour rotary engines? Try to learn as much as you can. Read everything you can on this forum, especially in this section. The search function turns up tones of usefull info.
Also check out
www.howstuffworks.com (search for "rotary engine")

Well, other than the fact the there is a rotary engine, the rest of the car is pretty similar to other cars - so look for the usuall stuff.
These cars are known to have poor electrical systems, so check over EVERYTHING (switches, lights, gauges, etc)
There is a FAQ section at the top of this forum which should help you with what to look for while buying.
Don't forget to check out the Canadian Forum as well!

I dont know where you read it was blown, but its not. lol The owner is getting a brand new 04 M3, to go along with the bmw he already has, so he wants the rex out of there. im gonna ask him for a lot less cuz i heard that rex are way to expensive to repair depending on what is wrong.
