I'm the new owner of a car any my first car happens to be a 87' FC. I'm interested in putting a 13BT engine in it and doing a lot of modifications. Should I purchase a Turbo II or should I stay with my N/A and Turbo it? I've heard a couple times that it's better to just purchase a TII. What should I do?

i think the base with mods will cost more in the longrun. though turbos can cost a pretty penny too. if taken care of properly it'll treat u well

 

Well I am a prime example. I had an NA and wanted to make it really fast. I then realized I would have to spend a ton of money just to get where a TII is already. Then I just bought my TII.

 

Go buy a TII and keep the NA. That way when the TII is not running you will still have a 7 to drive.

Buy a T-II. The only NA worth the headache of a swap is the convertible.
