Question to buy or not 2 to buy that is da question!

ok well i love 7's and im tired of n/a im fiending boost! i know some n/a owners can relate
well i kannot find n e decent t2's in my area.
so im thinkin of switchin to piston !
mitsubishit to be exact. i think 93 or 94 bishi awd eclipse
i have driven it and rode in it and i like the response handling is fair but torque and top end amaze me but mostly torque
what do u guys think of this idea?
keep in mind its full leather and 4 seater which both of those options have its advantages and disadvantages
thanks
jack

drivetrains are really weak in those. the engines, if well cared for are pretty strong, but by now that'll be hard to find. it wont be any more reliable(if as much) as a turbo 2.

Expensive. Buy one flat out in good condition will cost you a tII well modded! and we all know the well modded tII will be faster.

i actually really like my eclipse.. it's not very fast, but it's a great cruiser, sounds good (as far as stock infinitys', and an audiobahn amp and sub), it's comfortable as hell, and you can still beat the occasional civic... but i'm mad at mine right now, so i'm not talking to her..

My personal recommendation is if you want a killer DSM, look for an the all wheel drive turbo first gens... 2.0 DOHC w/ turbo, they're fast cars, and a properly modded one is very respectable... check out dsmtalk.com (They have a forum like this one).

My personal recommendation - that CYM 93 FD in Wonko's avatar. Fast, sleak, and CRazzzy

I have a friend with a 95 talon tsi. It suffers from crankwalk and has eaten it's synchros (could have been the p.o. though...) by 95K miles. The 1st gen motors are just better in every aspect.
