Angry Burnt ECU!!!

I think my ECU is bad...

I pulled off the carpet to ground the wire for the ECU, then i took the cover on it off and on the PCB it is burnt at a few different places.

I think this is why I was having some problems.

I called Mazda and it would be $720!

Should I get a new one, or used or what?!?

thanks

hell no, PM icemark, he can probably get you a new one in a few weeks. Well, almost new anyways. I bought one from him last week and I haven't been happier.... well until my tax return check...

Check the for sale forum. They seem to be always for sale.

By all means. I'm just trying to get the word out. I hadn't even had the idea to ask for blow ECU's until I saw your post.

FYI, you should be able to trust a used ECU, if it has the same part # and came out of a running car. Just buy it from someone with a decent reputation.
