Question Building a TII and I need ideas/help

Hi, I just purchase and 87 TII shell, no engine no tranny. It will be my first rotary. I am having it built by a good friend in motreal who has made many andI trust his work. My Question is:

What parts should I be buying if i want to build a 300 RWHP turbo motor to be driven as a daily driver. Best turbo setup, best exhaust to use, how to keep it as cool as possible, which seals will work the best and where are the best prices on all these things.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Since you have all of the S4 elecs, let's stay with that.

S4 13BT mild street port
Hybrid turbo
Slightly bigger injectors
A way of controlling those injectors
Aftermarket fuel pump

300RWHP is easy...

Once you start say 400+...hmmm....

ya, I know 300 is not a big deal, i just want to make a very quick streetable amchine that will last, so more cooling etc. than normal. I want to build the engine to handle over 400HP and only give it 300 so it will not die prematurely.

Some idea's that will help are: I have used the dual alt. pully. It gets rid of the air pump and also leaves more area aound the engine to cool & less weight.
I have not yet tried the TID mod but I will on my next turbo...That will also free up space making the area around the Turbo easier to cool as well, or at least not get as hot.
Here is a idea I have uses with good results in the past. I remove the flash to pass headlite covers...More air can get into the cramped engine bay, especially when the lights are up...and well I think it looks meaner too! ha ha...You will clean more bugs off the lights as they get in there when the lights are in the down position. But I think its worth it.
Yes you will need fuel mods to be pushing 300 RWHP...A Walbro fuel pump, larger secondaries and a good unit to control them is wise along with the proper gauges to keep an eye on everything!
Good luck & let us know how it goes.
Use a synthetic gear & tranny lube too!
