Broken Window Switches NEED HELP ASAP!

My passenger window switch, the switch itself, has been broken on the passenger side, and now the switch to the passenger window on the drivers sides has now broken.
I thought that there may be a way to wire up the passenger window to the drivers window and have the remaining switch roll both window up and down. I have the wires that designate rolling up the windows, rolling down the windows, and the constant 12v capped off ready to be connected to one another.
Once I connected everything together neither windows would roll up or down, and once i disconnect them the drivers side window will roll up.
I thought that since there is a 30amp fuse for both window switches I thought maybe I have to have a 60amp fuse to the right amount of power goes through to roll up both windows on one switch (the drivers window switch).

I haven't tried this yet but will that work, or am what I am thinking of doing just not going to work?

I do have the same wires capped off as well on the passenger side as well as the drivers side.

...what?

First off, how are the switches broken? Are the 'clicky' bits broken, or are the contacts broken? Have you attempted to even clean the switches yet (assuming they're S4's)

Secondly here's a diagram for how the power windows/switches work. Learn it.

Third, if the window just won't move, take your door panel off, get a cordless drill 12 volt battery, and jump it to the power window motor plug. If the window stays down, reverse the polarity and it'll go up (or vise-versa).
