Question A broken... thing? What is this line?

So... what is this and how difficult is it to repair/replace?

it is one of the electrical connections off of the ACV. I have no idea what it does though.

It is a sensor for the Air control valve. Do you still have an Air pump? OR should i say, do you still have cat converters. If not Racing Beat... (www.Mazdatrix.com) sells a block of plate to remove the whole ACV assembly. Works great and costs about 10 bucks. Well worth it.

Yeah, it is a ACV sensor. The dealer will simply *** rape you on that part. ( They did me) At least it was a similar one. If you can remove the ACV do it.

It's not a sensor, it's a solenoid valve. If you need your emissions equipment in place and working, just go to a wrecker and get a complete replacement AVC. If not, remove the AVC, along with the air pump and cat. A search will reveal many threads on doing this.
