Broken Engine Mounts

I just pulled the 13B out of my 89' GTU ( Approx. 5:45 first 13B Pull ) and I found that the passanger side engine mount ( the black rubberlike compund ) was broken. I have access to some stock GTU mounts for cheap, but should I go that route? Or are they notorious for breaking and I should replace them with another brand? If so, does anyone have any reccomendations?

Says they're not for my year. Would you happen to have part #'s? I'd be intrested in doing both Transmission AND Enging mounts, my engine being out and all.

You need to call mazdacomp or get a full catalog in order to see all the parts. Most of the good stuff isnt online.

Ahh, allright. Do you think it's worth the extra $20 to go ahead and swap the tranny mounts now? Seems like it's worth it if it stops the shifter from bounching around. ( Roads around here SUCK )

Same thing with my "new pre owned" RX-7 we pulled the motor out and the right mount fell on the floor.

Your assuming the shifter will still bounce with replaced motor mounts.

Remember your replacing the part that was most of the the reason that your shifter was moving.

I woud go with softer mounts, the stock replacements last 10-15 yrs, and get a stiff tranny mount.

Just me...
