FL Bridgeport Questions

so im doing a bridgeport pretty soon, and it will be done on a S5 N/A, today i heard from some locals that its pointless and just makes noise and hardly any power, well i am a drifter and most of my time is spent above 5k during my sessions, but im looking for more oomph!! on top end, cause clutch kicking every corner and manji is pretty gay, so i figured since porting increases top end id do it, plus i love the way it sounds, but is it true, is it really a waste? i dont have the money to do a turbo swap right now and a friend is doing my port job, but i want to get this issue cleared up

thanks~Ricky

A properly done bridgeport will cost as much as a turbo swap. You really need to run a standalone to take advantage of the bridgeport, and I've heard the stock intake manifold is hardly optimal for a bridgeport. I'd just stick with an n/a street port and an RTek or something.
