Break's not working??

Can someone tell me if the Break Boost could engage the breaks without me pressing the peddle? It seems odd that when i first start the car the breaks have to be pressed nearly to the floor to get them to work, but after a few moments of driving i barely touch them and the car comes to a complete hault.

If it's possible for the break boost to put actual pressure on the breaks, then i think i know why my car feels like it's losing power.

probably have some air in the lines. air will compress real easy when its cold, so the petal sinks, then after you drive a little it gets warmer and more compressed and makes the brakes real touchy.
