Brand new battery dead

Brand new battery dead

ok,i just had a used engine put in my car. it has a brand new battery and after one day of use its dead... and there is a strange clicking sound coming from the dead passenger side headlight motor... wtf is going on?

your motor is trying to move when it cant. for now, disconnect the motor. charge battery. youll be rocking the one light but its a temp fix until you figure out why the motor wont go up and down.

mybattery died after 2 days of use...take it back and get a new one.....mine died while i was driving out of town one day

Your battery can't die while driving unless the alternator is not working.

^^ Alternator is not chrging the battery. If its happening from running the car its the alternator... if it dies over night then its the battery most likely.

I have a month old battery that's defective.

Just buy from a place that you know will honor thier warranty.

I think it has to do with the headlight motor being "dead" which makes me think jammed, seeing its clicking. The motors work on their own with no ignition switch interuption...

well there is some juice in it, like my dome light is ultra dim, but there isnt enough juice to start the car.
