brake rotor question

i have a 88 se and i wanted to know if matters if i change the brake rotors from 4 lug to 5 lug cuz most rims are 5 anyways x_X.. help me x_x...

search for 5 lug conversion, if you want to use 5 lug brakes or wheels

What? Your question doesn't make any sense. It "matters" if you change the rotors from 4 lug to 5 lug because the 5 lug rotors won't fit on the 4 lug hubs.

Oh boy, the natives aren't gonna like this question...

I never searched for it cause it hasn't been info I've needed, but I'm betting there is a sticky somewhere in the archives of 2nd gen.
