Brake Rotor Question
Alright, so as I was replacing my back left rotor (idiot previous owner) one of the screws was rusted out and stripped.
So I finally got the rotor off after lots of profanity and liquid wrench.
So, my ultimate question is.....is it ok to run the rotor without the 2 philips head screws on?
A few Honda autocross guys I used to hang around with used to not use those screws, since the torque from the lug nuts holds it on very securly anyways....
Let me know what you think....

In my opinion (which is not professional so take it or leave it), it would not matter. I think they are meant more as retainer screws the keep the rotor in place when doing maintenance (tire rotations, ball joint work, etc). Just my thought on it though but you should wait for one of the "rotary gurus" to answer you.
I had one screw that wouldnt come out, and one screw that had sheared off in BOTH of my rear rotors. As per Aaron Cakes advice, I drilled them out and am now running without them. Theyre just there to keep the rotor from falling off when removing the wheel ( or so I hear... ) Anyways, Im running fine without them.
I'm no guru, but I'd say they are just to keep the rotor in position while the wheel is off. If you only have one screw you should be ok, no screws should work too, just make sure things are straight when you put wheels on again. Then again, that might throw off your wheel balance by a couple grams
Ok, cool, thats what I thought.
I will prolly put the one good screw in for ***** and giggles.
Yeah, the wheels need to be balanced anyhow, the front left tire is a 205/55R16, while the right side is a 205/50R16....yeah, I told you this guy was a dumbass.
