Brake master cylinder gone, replacement options, need advice

whenever i get on the brakes they start to grab but then the pedal goes to the floor. they car still stops but it feels like it is only the front brakes kicking in cause the rear end seems to lift up if i get on them hard. i went to my local rotary shop and after i told them my symptoms they said i need a new brake master cylinder. i just did a search and found that some people upgrade to a 929 brake master cylinder.

Would this work for a stock system like mine with the abs?
If so what year 929 do i pull it off of?

thanx in advance

Before you jump to conclusions, try bleeding the system. Youll have to do it from each caliper i believe, it should be in your haynes manual. Also, take some degreaser to all your brake lines, then spray off with the hose and dry them. Take it for a drive and then look to see if you can spot any leaks(on a nice dry day off course) Good luck to ya,
