brake light causes engine stop light warning cluster
As the title says, Whenever I press my brake the engine stop light goes off on the warning cluster.
Any ideas? . . ..
I'm gonna start diagnosing by taking out the bulbs one at a time and then change the brake switch at the pedal. .. .Something is going to ground it seems.
Any ideas on what might cause this? . .. Maybe I have a bad instrument warning cluster . . . .My wiper switch is "bad" so maybe that might be playing a role.
Thanks, , ,RL

That's a great item. . . . .I just added some last week.
I think the fluid is pretty dirty, and the unit is kinda old.
Today it started working again.
I'll check the wiring diagram. . . ..A stop engine light would be the proper response if the car thought it had no brake fluid.
Thankfully this aftermarket item is still available.
Thanks. . .RL
