Its the warning light for the Parking Break. It will be on when the parking break is engaged and off when it is not...

Um, it is the e-break.. Pull your e-break & it should light up.. You probably need to clean the switch.. Or maybe stop drifting those corners

Have you checked the brake fluid level? If it comes on when you are cornering most likely your brake fluid is to low....Check it out and at the same time check your clutch fluid level and make sure they are at the max level....I had the same hapening to mine and it was just low brake fluid... It could also be the sensor...

no, no, It's not the parking brake warning light. Because that one is on the far-right hand side of the instrument cluster. This one is on the far left and it's simply labelled "brake".

Out of the manual
Brake System Warning Light (says Brake)
Function as a parking break warning light-
This indicator lights up when the parking brake is applied with the ignition on. Make sure the parking brake is fully released before driving. The light should go out.

Function as a brake-fluid level warning light-
If the same indicator lights up even when the parking brake is completely released with the ignition on, it may indicate that the brake fluid level in the reservoir is low.

If the warning light comes on.
1) Be sure the parking brake is released. If the parking break is not engaged ....
2) pull off the road and carefully stop your vehicle
3) Check the brake fluid level and add fluid as required.
4) Have your dealer check of leaks.
5) If the brakes are not working, have the vehicle towed to a dealer for repair.

I love that last line Serzy... 5) If brakes are not working have vehicle towed to dealer for repair.

No kidding!! You mean I shouldnt drive without breaks?? cant I just open the door and stick out my foot to stop? Maybe toss out an anchor? Nothing like that?
