KY Brake Job on 91 non turbo rx7

My rear passenger side caliper seized up. A friend gave me the calipers, rotors, and brake pads off of his 88 turbo 2 rx7. Can i use his brakes on my car? The rotors and calipers I have on the car now aren't vented but the replacement rotors are.

I replaced the rear brake pads but they're in really tight. When i drive i can hear them rubbing the rotors. Is tat normal? Do i need to break them in? Wear them down some?

Did you turn the caliper all the way in when you put the new pads in?

Did you align the pad pin with the recess in the piston?
E-brake releases properly?

I didn't put the little wishbone piece of metal/Eire back on . Could that make that much of a difference?
