Where would one get a set of rear brake calipers for a 87 T2. Mine can't be rebuilt. I e looked everywhere and no one has them in stock.

There's used available, but given the age they would probably need to be rebuilt.
Maybe don't want to spend the $, but new:
FBY52698ZR $113
FBY52699ZR $118

Keep a check on Rockauto.com. Sometimes they get re-maned ones, but when they do, they don't last long before they sell out. They are sold out right now.

Is there a difference between calipers with different casting numbers. I have 659 stamped on mine. Someone has some that have 61P on them.

Could be but I'm not sure. I know there are two different rear calipers. One for vented discs and one for solid discs. That could be the difference in the numbers. They look slightly different as well.

you could check a junkyard parts finder. thats where I usually get all my stuff, saved a lot on calipers and hubs. rebuilding costs like $5 per caliper if you buy the seals and do it yourself.
