It was a rebuilt unit, $35.99 from Advanced Auto Parts, they did fail on me after 40K. Let see if this new one will fail.

Yes it is high temp paint, I used those engine paint from autozone

Yeah, TMAK, it looks like you went a bit heavy on coats, hance the bubbling.
Next time try some light coats of paint every hour for about 6 coats. You should barely be able to see the first coat. It'll look like crap for the first few hours and then look beautiful for the around coat 4.

I wish i had access to a digital camera. I anodized my calipers, they look pimping as hell!

so pretty much you are saying that painting your calipers red is ghetto or ricy, correct? if that is so then porsche's are ghetto because they come stock with painted calipers and thats right they are RED, i think it makes the car look kind of exotic, other colors like yellow, yeah that looks like **** but red looks good.

Red calipers did a LOT for the looks on the bullitt edition mustang.
Definitely not rice.

Any kind of dye will work, even fabric dye.
I did a search and found a good wrte-up. This is very smiliar to the set up I use, only on a much smaller scale.
http://www.focuser.com/atm/anodize/anodize.html
Pics will explain much better than I ever could.
Any other q's ask me.
