Brake Booster Question

There is a coolant line going to the brake booster that I have never noticed until today, shortly after noticing it I realized I have no idea wth it does.

It's a vaccum line. Coolant does not flow to the brake booster.

There is a vacuum line going to it from the intake manifold.

oh that makes lots more sense, but mine is a 5/16 in coolant line so I figured it was coolant which made 0 sense
