BOV won't vent [88 TII]
I'm using an HKS SSQV, which is hooked up to the factory vacuum port for the OEM bypass valve.
No matter how loose I set the spring tension, I can't get it to vent, all I hear is a bunch of compressor surge.
Help?

drill and tap your ACV blockoff plate if you have one. That's what I do. use a 1/8 NPT tap for the hole. I have my Greddy BOV tightened almost all the way down and it holds 14+ psi (pressure test confirmed) and always blows off.
Or tap it off the lowest port on the front of the UIM, that is a better source.

I just bought a set of blockoff plates from Banzai Racing, will be sure to tap into the ACV plate.
