bought my 6th rx7 today..turbo finnally

hey i just bought my 6th rx7, but my first turbo!!..i bought for 1,000..and like im new to the turbo so what should i check first..??? all the basic stuff i know but do i have to do something special to the turbo..? any help is gladly appreciated..

yeah it's an s5, 1990..it has like a few knacks..bt nothing i cant work on..hey for 1g, i took the chance..the turbo sounds great and its running good, it has130k..but runs great..

Great deal... You've got a lot to work with. My only advice (without knowing intimate details), is to just give the car a GOOD once-over and replace all of the basic nonsense before pushing it. (plugs, filters, fluids etc.)

After this, just be really careful until you get comfortable with the Rx7, inside and out...

nice, I got my turbo on my 6th one also check shaft play of turbo and regular RX7 maintenence stuff and you'll be fine
