Both coils not firing

friend just bought s4.

started and high idled for 30 seconds (sounded good), then died.

no spark at all.

the high idle was cold start high idle like a lot of em do, well at least all the ones i owned.

what and why?

havent checked igniter yet. could this be the culprit?

also, no idiot lights on when ignition was turned on.

Both EGI fuses and the ENGINE fuse have to be good for spark.

check all the ecu grounds. just finished an engine rebuild at school today and went to start it up for the first time and we couldn't get spark. figured out it was a set of grounds way out of sight that we forgot to put back on.
