Borla XR-1 as a presilencer?

Anyone try experimenting with any of the XR-1 stuff on the link listed below as a presilencer (in place of the cat)???

What was the sound like?
What cannister was the final exit from?
Anyone mate it to an Apexi N1?

That XR-2 Ti unit looks like it may be a nice tidy fit. Even looks like a bit like a cat. Maybe able to fool the fuzz with that one.

I remember I lot of guys in the 3rd gen specific forum that use and like this. Try a search there and you might get some better opinions.
