Boost spike

I've always considered my turbo duty solenoid or my boost sensor to be defective. My stock gauge misreports the actual boost reading. The autometer gauge reports that my boost spikes to 10 psi and then goes down to about 8psi... and stays steady at 8-9psi the whole time. I have a STOCK rx7... its not supposed to be that high at all. Already checked for vacuum leaks... the line IS connected to the wastegate... if it wasnt, then i'd have MAJOR overboosting issues hehe

Thanks
-Ross
