Keeping cruise control with the TB mod?

Is it possible because without the thermowax thing where the cruise control would bolt about 1/2 inch closer to the TB. Would that affect the cruise control since the cable would be a bit different or would it be the same? I want to keep my cruise control but if I can't then i will rip it out too.

I've seen a couple of cars here in boston running cruise with the TB mod, and none of them mentioned a problem with it when I asked about it (as I was wondering this myself) Best bet would to give it a try and see how it goes, not like it's hard to install/remove.

I don't think that would be a problem. Provided the cable Is free of snags, you'll be cruising with the Cruise Control.

On a side note, when I had Cruise Control, I lost that little metal clip that Is held on the bracket you make mention of. That too had no adverse effect on It's function.

Yep, there's no change to the cruise control cable's quadrant after the TB mod. If there is you've done something wrong...
