boost / pressure sensor weirdness - going insane

Ok, I'm not having a good day. 2 days ago I measured 5v at pin 2b on my 88 ecu, at idle and with the car off and key on. yesterday I tested the pressure sensor according to the factory manual and it read 2v at 3.9inHg, which is apparently fine. Today, I just noticed my stock boost gauge now only gets halfway between the bottom and 0 when I turn the key on, when it should go to 0 for the self check. It used to go to 0. Pin 2b is a constant 5v at idle, with the vacuum hose to the sensor both plugged and unplugged, and the wiring for the sensor both plugged and unplugged. I'm not getting any check codes out of the self tester.

I have *no* idea whats going on, can anyone decipher this?
