Whats the highest boost level I can run on a stock turbo? Im putting a new turbo on in the very near future, but for now, I want to run more boost with the stock s4. I have the fuel to back it and an enormous wastegate. can I run say 12 lbs.?

 

12 lbs maybe always remember more air in more out which means bigger exaust.What about heat ?do you have a stock intercooler.First thing open your exaust thenmore fuel then colder air then more boost. This a starting point you cant do one with out the other every thing is conected.When your car gets fast enough now you start having problems controling always remember you cant do one with out the other.

 

Oh no, my car is more than ready to compensate, solid 3" turbo back exhaust, HEALTHY street port, 720's etc. I wasnt worried about the exhaust...just the turbo itself!

 

you should be fine, i wouldnt worry about it. you might want to think about a series 5 turbo and manifold, or get some money to upgrade yours.
