Boost leak?

Ive searched around and didnt find anything that I saw related to mines. Before my car wouldnt idle but now it does fine cause I found a big leak from not tighting my throttle body and what not. I wasnt getting boost then either of course. But now the gauge that I installed says that Im not getting any boost. But my bov goes off after reving to 3-4000 rpms. There, the almost reaches zero. Other wise itd be sitting around 12-18 below the zero. Is my gauge just messed or do I still have to keep looking for the leak(s)?
