Boost Lag?

what mainly causes boost lag in a Turbo II?

If you mean the time it takes for the turbo to spool up, it's designed that way. There are faster scrolling turbos and some even provide good air volume.

...The wastegate, and catalytic converters. When I got my turbo-back, my spool-up time was dramatically decreased. I'll start spooling @ 2000 rpms and be @ full boost by 3000-3500 rpms no problem...
