Question Boost Jumping

My TurboII boost at 8psi in 1st and 2nd. But when i hit 3rd it jumps up to 10psi. I have no boost controller. Should it be doing that? If not what can i do to stop it.

it's called boost creep. it'll probbaly be even higher in 4th in 5th. which will blow you engine if you don't have any fuel mods.

I'm assuming you have exhuast and intake mods? that's what causes it.

either you need to remove the turbo and port the wastegate hole bigger. or restrict the intake and exhuast by re installing stock stuff. which of course will reduce power.
