boost cut defensor

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked before,

I have a boost-cut defensor on my '87 Tll. If the BCD is bad, for whatever reason, will the ECU error code show no error code, or show a boost/ pressure sensor error code?

Thanx,

Its called an FCD - Fuel Cut Defender. It basically fools the computer that the car is running less boost - IE if you are pushing 10psi, the ECU is only seeing 6-7. it trickes the computer and it will not show up on engine codes??? Dude its aftermarket.

HeySaabGuy,

Sorry, too much crack. I'll unplug the FCD and test the pressure sensor.
