so majority of the time my car does not hit 7 psi unless i realy punch it. but occasionally it will work right, and hits 7psi around 3k, i saw the third gens have valves for the wastegate connected to the ecu, dont know if this is anything to do with it, and i was wondering what could be causing this problem. also mods are 3" exhuast, rb catback, 720 second. safc, blitz intake/bov, 255cfm walbro, etc

 

With a 3" exhaust and intake you should have no problem reaching 7psi, you should actually be having problems staying under 7psi. You might want to make sure you don't have any boost leaks and make sure you turbo is still healthy.
