PS or presure sensor are the correct terms for the N/A. However we through them around for both cars b/c evryone here will know what you are refering to. Properly a BPS or boost presur sensor or boost sensor is the one for the turbo and the PS is the one for N/A as I said.

They do the same thing, but they're not the same actual device.

The NA boost sensor reads from full vacuum to somewhere around atmospheric pressure.

The TII pressure sensor reads from full vacuum to somewhere around +1bar (double atmospheric pressure).

At any given pressure, the voltages coming off the sensors will be different - ambient will be close to 5v on the NA sensor, and somewhere around 2.5v on the TII sensor.

Actually, TII (and N/As I believe), have 2 of these sensors. One for manifold pressure, and one for atmospheric.

Check the grounds on the firewall. Clean all the grounds on the rear rotor housing and tranny. The PS is part of a single loop 5v circuit that is paird with the AFM and evrything ells that is 5V share the same comon ground. So I will bet on it being your rear rotor ground.
