Bonez vs Mazdatrix hi flow cats?
After doing much searching I see these are the two choices for a hi flow cat. Other then a $200 difference in price does anyone know how these two cats differ? Quality? Flow? etc? Thank you.

I know nothing about the Mazdatrix cat, but I've had the Bonez Cat+Pre-Silencer for a few years now and its been great. When I first installed it with the stock cat-back the car sounded better and it felt like I had more power at higher RPMs. I've since upgraded to the RB cat-back, and the sound is great.

how did the rb catback bolt up to the bonez high flow cat? i currently have rb downpipe to presilencer to catback and am looking to swap in the bonez unit for emissions reasons.

"The Bönez Street Exhaust Systems utilize an ultra high temperature, high flow catalytic converter that has been specifically designed to handle the high exhaust temperatures the rotary engine produces. 2.5" piping feeds into a pre-silencer before feeding into our high flow catalytic converter. These systems simply bolt up to the stock exhaust manifold and connect to the stock or aftermarket cat back exhaust systems."
.... with that said, the RB Catback bolts up stock as well. No special fabrication or anything was necessary. I'm thinking that the Bonez street exhaust would replace the downpipe and presilencer (I'm not familiar with how those components work though).

I got the Bonez 3" cat I Bought the Flanges from RB and had my local welder put the whole thing together for me.
I passed Emissions with flying colors. and the new cat can be changed over to the pre silencer in about 10 mins (if that)
I discovered that i lose almost NO boost to the cat. Even with it i was still hitting like .83 Bar (12 PSI) and now that i changed it to the pre silencer its about the same.
Im curious to see how the whole thing responds to me porting my wastegate. As i know that i have alot of creep.

You're expecting to pass smog with a single turbo setup? Not going to happen. The visual would fail you immediately, and then there's the lack of air pump/ACV....
