Arrow bonez race pipe- has vac nipple area, but split air hose......

For an S4. Bonez race pipe installed and the small vacuum line hooked up to the small line on the pipe.

But, what do I do with the split air hose that comes off the engine?

Are my ports activated through backpressure via the vac line that I hooked up?

Did a search, but couldn't get taht specific.

Thanks

Clarification:

All cats are gone and replaced with bonez race pipe. The race pipe has a small line on it where I connected a small vac. line coming off of the split air pipe. Now all I have left is the tube that used to connect to the split air mushroom looking thing. What do I do with that?

Which one opens the ports? The small vac. line or the larger line coming from the engine?

Any harm in leaving the larger line open?

Anyone??

I had just recieved my bonez race pipe and noticed too that theres no place for the metal line from the motor but I had called them and asked and they said that all u need is the smaller rubber one and the other one could be even just removed from the motor and left open cuz air only comes out the metal one. Im goin to install mine 2morrow with my greddy cat-back.

Leave the bigger hose open or just remove it? I'll have to do a little more research to be sure unless anyone else can confirm that.

As far as the bonez pipe in concerned, mine is in conjunction with the RB catback and I love the deep tone it has. It even spits out blue flames from the tailpipes.
