Theres an expensive "RE Amemiya "bolt on" twin turbo kit for the car, extremely rare, and a handful of other rare kits, many people gather the parts and do it themselves, lots of fabrication is involved so if oyur afraid of cutting, grinding, welding, or any custom work at all dont bother, also any chances of the car being reliable go out the window. You'll be running a high compression turbo setup and if its no tuned right well, your fucked. Search this forum this has been covered before, so many times that people generally lash out at this subject unless it pictures of someone actually doing it. I am personally gathering parts to turbo my Series IV right now. If you want to do it yourself i highly suggest you read Aaron Cake's write-up:
http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/naturbo.htm
And the turbo conversion on Team FC3S.com:
http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/showth...rbo+conversion
there are more than this, but those two are very important.
swapping the whole engine, computer, transmission and rear end from a turbo car is the "best" way to do it in most peoples opinion. i dont like most people's opinions. Cheers

Or bother Sonik.

Btw, any Turbo set up that isn't tuned can have damage.

You can "slap on a turbo", but can you handle the rest of the upgrades?
Mild boost might be alright for the non-turbo engine, but raising power means you're going to break every single piece of your non-turbo drivetrain.
Do you have a Turbo II drivetrain ready to swap in?

The stock non-turbo ECU cannot handle boost...well, more accurately, it doesn't know you're boosting.
How do you address that?
Can you install and tune a stand-alone EMS?
Most people can't...

To do this the "right" way, you're looking at a couple thousand minimum in equipments, mods, and labor.
Add another thousand to add the supporting upgrades (i.e. intake, exhaust, clutch, etc.) just to keep everything happy...

Now the question is...ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY FOR IT???

Just to nit-pick, that is far from a "bolt on" kit. If you're going to replace manifolds, why not just pay $50 for a set of used TII manifolds instead of paying $1400 for a custom set?

At the moment, there are no bolt on NA-turbo kits.

keep it n/a, i personnaly like the feel of the n/a better, plus it lasts longer if your really worried about power, upgrade the intake and the exaust, and maybe even the fuel line. that should keep you happy, and help you cut down anyone who wants to race and isnt driving a ferrari

Sonik quit making them (or isn't for that matter?) Sorry for any misleading information, I was told that it was bolt on (as far as manifolds and a little drilling, as much as the atkins kit it seems, other then the intercooling).
