body parts for fc3s

body parts for fc3s

can anyone tell me where i can find flores or rocker panels for an 86 fc3s rx7 and replacement fenders?

I have just been thinking about this today. Hard to find stuff here but important and increasingly more so as time is moving on. Perhaps you can beat me to it but your best bet is going to talk to a local body shop and look at there books to get some.

Your next option is a good fabricator and preferably one with much skill in body shop.

Mazda...Every bit of the unibody is available from the dealer. You could practically build a new body from scratch if you wanted.

Thats crazy. I worked there and couldn't even get the LIM for a Tii and the exhaust manifold was like 2300 dollars! Thats why I got extra parts. lol

Get a copy of the Body and Chassis Parts catalog by follow the link in the FAQ to the Engine and Chassis catalog on the Mazdamotorsports site. The Body catalog has a good list of all of the sheet metal available from Mazda complete with part numbers. Without the part numbers the dealers are useless but with them they will have a hard time refusing to order what you want. Prices aren't extreme either.

wait... what about the part of the unibody with the vin #? will you get a new one stamped if you order that? or would you have to re-rivit the old plate?
