Check the timing. It is fixed based on the location of the CAS so it tends not to jump around unless the CAS was moved. It helps to isolate the noise if you have as stethoscope you can use to listen to the engine. Might be something else like a broken bracket banging against the engine.

Sounds like your timing is too far advanced.

Grap a copy of the Factory Service Manual from the FAQ and look up the Crank Angle Sensor (CAS). The FSM should have a decent set of instructions/pictures on properly setting ("stabbing") the CAS.

okey sorry...i allready got an fsm.. see problem is engine and all worked perfectly. i had tremendes power and boost untill i had to leave the car still for 2 months this summer....And then whem i went on to fire it up, it was offcourse out of power... so we went on connecting an power booster to the battery, and it fired straight away.......
but this is where the problem appeared... at this point the car had no power and this weird metal sound when u gave a full throttle

I still think it's detonation. If the car sat for a while, the fuel filter or injectors can be clogged, leading to a lean mixture. If you did not move the CAS then it should not be timing related so you can probably skip my previous advice.

The mystery of the prize.
BTW, since it hasnt been mentioned, avoid driving the car under the conditions that cause that noise until you understand what is going on.
It could very well ruin your engine.

SUPER that is an advice i can use... cause when we got it started we brought the car to this shop where we adjusted the CO and HC, we therefor screwed some on the leaner/richer srew... to get it to run OK and not to high... but this engine is ported, so i guess it wount run nicely nomatter how much i try..
i also have suspected that the injector might be clogged, cause they don`t close when i shut down the engine.. so i kind of have to unplugg the wires back in the trunk to stop the engine,, or else it wount fire back up, due to 2 much fuel...
i bought some clens-stuff for the injectors, but i dont dare to drive as long as i got this sound/power prob..
I TRULLY APPRETIATE THE TIME U USE TO ANSWEAR ME:: CHRISTMAS UP SOON. c",)
