Body Kits??

Ok I have seen some debate over this subject and I hate to bring it up again. But I am looking for a body kit for my car. Now I will agree that 99% of the body kits out there right now look stupid for FC's but my question is this. If I where to modify a body kit for an S13 240sx, would it fit onto the FC body. They have the same wheelbase and I have seen guys using S13 lips. So what about a full body kit?

NOT all of them look stupid I have looked for 2 years for a good one and finally found it on ebay $405 shipped front, rear and sides all fiberglass, mesh in front air dams and it went on like a dream. Rear bumper section looks like a roll pan in the rear not straight down like most. Front bumper has had clear lights removed on front bumper section looks good better now with GTU spoiler and tinted windows.

Whoa, suks2bu. Sorry, but I'm NOT a fan of that body kit. Also, I can't see how you could get enough air-flow to the radiator

As for a full S13 body kit, I haven't heard of it being tried, and I rather doubt it would work without significant modification. I've only been here a year, though, so there may be someone here who has done it.

Most stateside FC kits don't look all that great but have you tried looking at Japan's? I know they are hard to come by but they are worth it IMO. Using a nissan body kit would not only be time consuming but it also wouldn't serve the rotary right. Kits are supposed to be designed to be the most efficient for that car. I used to be addicted to the TII bonnet but after you go FMIC you should get a hood that will help cool the engine better or something. But, if you are into show and not "go" then I say more power to ya.

best body mods are either just a front lip, Origin, GP Sports, or B magic.

dont get the knock off's either, they're more of a pain to prep for fitment as the originals fit much better with less prep for fitting

my FC had a widebody kit...the front fenders were custom but the front bumper was from a 300ZX..so it is possible with some customizing...not sure with S13's tho

thats the worst idea I've ever heard.
and also, they do not have the same wheel base.
there are plenty of kits available for FC's, for pretty much every style you want.... I don't know why you'd try to make an S13 kit fit...

Actually, if you look around, the styles of kits for FC's arent very overwhelming. And just so you dont look too stupid later on, an S13 and an FC have the same wheelbase as far as width goes (which is all you really need when it comes to body kits and front bumpers). They are both 66.5 inches wide (I believe 66.5 is the correct number) and are only about 20 inches different in length.

So anyway, continue on...

wheelbase is not width.
and you must not be looking very hard then.

anyway, good luck.
