Racing beat only has paper catalogs for some reason - and they're great. Guess I should scan it up someday too

What kit is this?

I really like the way it enhances the stock look
It looks like a border type II front end, but whats the rest?

No... not to mention I don't like any body kits ... They all seem ricey to me.

Funny thing is.. darnit. If I can find the picture, I'll finish my sentence.

body kits

Do body kits help at all preformance wise? More downforce, higher top speed, i dunno? Or are they just there for looks and add extra weight :/

I like the stock look of the car, most (not necessarily all) bodykits on RX7s make the car look cheap.

The elfie kit is the erebuni shogun kit (http://www.erebuni.net), I also think that it's a very nice looking kit, but I have HEARD (read:I don't know 100%) that it's not a bolt up kit and you will have to have some bodyshop work done, but hell it's only $550 so it's worth it. Also I can't see a single pic either (except for the "elfie"). I can't remember what the racing beat kit looks like...anyone have any pics. I remember they used to have it on the site, but it's been gone for a while now. I'd REALLY appreciate it if someone would post a pic for me. Thanks ahead of time...heck if you could PM me so I KNOW I'll get it.

WING NO. PART NO. APPLICATION DESCRIPTION PRICE
375 375RW 86-91 3D CUSTOM RW. MOLD ON STYLE 286
Note: Rear Wing #375RW needs to be molded to the rear quarter panels which requires body work.

Kit is made from fibreglass. It doesnt say it needs to be fitted by a body shop like the wing... Maybe thats just the part you were talking about. Everything else should just bolt on.

A custom made body kit would be sweet. The reason I say this is because to have a true import car you need to have something different from everyone else. Stock is fine if you can't afford it (ie. myself), but if you got the cash then you could be more original instead of copying everybody.

Personally, I like FC body kits that still keeps the stock lines of the FC
For example. Corksport/Border "Type II" front bumper, Feed Engineering front lip and nose.
I find R Magic, RE Anemiya, and the knightsport kits a bit too extreme for my tastes. Anything else where they tear out the pop up lights I hate.

You must love/hate mine then...... it's a corksport border II with the pop ups ripped out by their gonads.

I still like the bomex.
That body kit is perfect!

woah ...resurrection judging form the date...

anyways... i was somewhat arguing with this other guy about bodykits...
i was saying that one of the reasons why i wanted to replace most of the bumpers/panels is to get rid of the rust...and with FRP body kits, they wont crack/break
and then he goes to say "well if u wanted to change the look why did u buy it in the first place"
what an ***

and this may sound dumb..but i wish there were more kits for the FC....even if this car isnt made anymore...i still see new kits for older model civics, crx, eclipse etc... i mean it might be ricey...but still at least they got pages and pages of options...and some of them really do look good
