I voted that they look better with kits but I think they are pretty damn sexy the way they are too

If you mean body kit as in wide *** front fenders and rear quarter panels that will fit Viper tires, then no, I don't like body kits. But, if you mean front clip, side skirts, and a rear wrap around, then yes, I like some.

Well now that you brought up those points I would have to agree with you!

Thumbs up Its Cool

Personally, I like FC body kits that still keeps the stock lines of the FC
For example. Corksport/Border "Type II" front bumper, Feed Engineering front lip and nose.
I find R Magic, RE Anemiya, and the knightsport kits a bit too extreme for my tastes. Anything else where they tear out the pop up lights I hate.

I also find it very hard to fit a nice spoiler on the FC. The Elfie one looks pretty nice, but I'm pretty happy with the stock porsche 944 rip off spoiler

And remember this kids, Coilovers can make your stock FC look sooooo much better. I can't help but to break a smile when I see my Turbo II slammed.

I got some CATZ lights and I'm in the middle of "tearing up" my pop-ups. I like body kits most of the time. Pretty much given the qualifications above.

Gimpdiggity,

You shouldn't have posted this thread

This kit hasn't been show before. It's avaiable through racing beat and I've been seriously thinking about it for my convertible.

I've got some better pictures of this kit, just have to scan them in. The "sophisticated look"

I'm still missing 1/2 my bodykit pics from photopoint.com going bankrupt. Need to re-scan those hyperrev books, but it takes to long (35MB tiff files, thouch them up, remove magazine pixels, downsample to 1024x768, convert to jpg).

The yellow Knightsports kit is nice...especially with the shaved moldings. The nose on the white car is fugly. The last pic of the blue one isn't bad. Any kit that rids the pop-ups is out the window.

I still like the bomex.

I have 109 of your scanned bodykit pics, if you want em. If those are some you're missing
Most are the ones you posted like 4 threads at a time w/ the yellow writing on the picture.

vaughnc.zip
You have a zip program i assume? If not, just download the entire folder named FC bodykit pics from vaughnc
The zip is just the entire folder in one file for neatness purposes.
enjoy.

*edit*
Maybe you could upload some of the other FC pics you have to the "Please Upload RX-7 Stuff Here" folder if ya have any spare time.

How much for some of these?

I wouldn't mind side skirts and rear apron, front bumper?

gotta be more specific
complete kits can cost from $600 complete to $5000 complete
not to mention more than half you will never see in the US on account of being somewhay japan only kits.

I think that kit's from Japan or Australia, but I don't remember the name offhand. I'll be scanning some new hyperrev books in soon that will probably have that bodykit's manufacturer listed.

I think they generally look cleaner and have nicer lines when the body is left mostly stock. Just my opinion though...

maztech from australia
should be www.maztech.com.au but they're down for some reason
erebuni makes a similar wing but its hard to fit and is rather cheap and crappy. Erebuni bodykits are crap.
