To answer your question "YES" you could but at this point why would you want to go with the S-AFC, and still use the stock ECU is beyond me ? I would go with a aftermarket EMS for sure once im at this stage of the game. And besides its more reliable, and versatile than the S-AFC. I would rather do it right the first time around and not risk blowing a motor.

Once you start running high boost.. you REALLY want to switch to a stand-alone. The stock boost sensor is not going to be as reliable as a MAP sensor. The SAFC doesn't have the adjustablility that you need. Plus, once you start adding bigger injectors, you really want to be able to fine tune your secondaries and the upgraded ECU just isn't gonna do that for you.

you COULD make it work.. but i've seen a lot of guys towing their cars home from the track because while it worked most of the time on the street, when they really needed it to work... it didn't hold up.

I put the stage IV on my plane but am running into what appears to be Surge at just a few PSI. abrupt loss of power and boost pressure until it comes down to zero boost and then will "catch" again. My intake manifold is handmade and VERY inefficient so that may be most of my problem.

Has anyone had a similar ploblem (now that this tread is old)? Does anyone know if BNR can put a TO4E "40" wheel in the stage-IV instead of the 60-1? That should keep me further away from the surge line...
