blown seal?
Finished putting a rebuilt motor into my s5 na car with a full racing beat exhaust.
Now after about 3k miles it started running pretty rough and sounds very odd from when I first put in the motor. All TPS and timing is correct as well as new plugs and wires. So I did a compression check (with a piston check tool) and it seems as though the rear rotor has weak compression in either an apex seal or a side seal.
Here is the link to the youtube video with the two compression checks and what the car sounds like now as well as what it sounded like after install and some breakin.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0tLW8pRHME
The rear rotor got to like 103 or 105 psi there abouts and the front rotor got to 115 or so. The rear rotor also took alot longer to come up to the max compression versus the front.
Does it look like I am going to be pulling this motor for the 2nd time since i've had this car?
